about

||

Radament presents its second album “due” after the positive reviews received by its homonymous first record in 2017.

Formed in Barcelona by the Galician pianist and composer Juanjo Fernández and by the Italian drummer Giorgio Fausto Menossi, the duo keeps the original formula of its debut, with instinctive and raw arrangements, and it is capable to add a compositional maturity that gives more interest and depth.

Radament’s jazz is still blended with classical and rock music, but the spectrum of influences is increasingly wider.

"The duo takes cheerful melodies for a spin, briskly riding them as far as they’ll go. And they pair that with a breezy, conversational style that is 100% engaging."
- The Best Jazz on Bandcamp (April 2019) -

"An absorbing set of nine tracks for those in search of seductive and splendid instrumental music. Radament make you want to float and fall through hypnotic as fascinating spirals of alt-jazz romance. Fully enthralling."
- Komakino -

"Noteworthy for its extensive variations of mood and tonality, 'due' succeeds on every level: melody, timing, sound and spontaneity. The command of the instruments is simply impeccable and strikes a fine balance between variety and unity in a most contemporary setting."
